WHITE SHARK AFRICAS MARINE PROGRAMS
Marine Conservation Program. ( MCP ).  This project will primarily focus on children and their relationship with the marine environment.  Children from all walks of life will benefit from this; however, additional attention is placed on children from disadvantaged groups and areas.

  1. Marine Conservation Program. ( MCP ).  This project will primarily focus on children and their relationship with the marine environment.  Children from all walks of life will benefit from this; however, additional attention is placed on children from disadvantaged groups and areas.  We have found that certain groups of children enjoy little exposure to the marine environment .This is a tragedy as these children spend their lives in fear of the oceans and its creatures.  We need to change these attitudes and percetions and we do this by offering : lectures, field trips, and exposure outings to see whales, sharks, seals, fish and marine birds, distribution of literature and school projects.
  1. Oceans 6 Sports Development Project. ( Oceans 6 ). This program is directed at our youth from disadvantaged environments.  Again, these children have almost zero opportunities or channels through which they can enjoy the thrill of developing marine sports skills. We have one of the longest and most beautiful coastlines in the world so it is out duty to bring our youth into intimate contact with the possibilities of this resource.  We have the potential to produce champion divers, surfers, kayakers, sailors and swimmers.  All we have to do is provide platforms to develop these skills.
  1. Professional Marine Skills Development Project: ( PMSDP ). In this project, we take prospective candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with the resources and backing to develop real skills.  These skills will primarily involve tourism, marine tourism and the marine working environment. Skills development may include aspects such as marine first aid training, marine fire fighting and prevention, commercial skippers licence, dive qualifications, tour guiding, marine radio operator’s licence and coastal skipper’s license.  As marine tourism grows in our country, we aim to assist in providing skilled personnel to the various industries. The more we can do to utilise the oceans as non-consumptive resources, the better for our future.
